Christmas arrived early in Spain this year (Thanks Mom and Dad!), and the result is pictured above. It’s…it’s…it’s a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker. Here! In Spain! In my own living room!
I still can’t believe. I feel so emotional right now. I…I just can’t write anymore at this moment. I need to be alone. I need to compose myself. I need…I need…I need a BIG hunka pork butt and a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon!
Glad to see that mom and dad came through Sal…I hope you have a wondeful wekend full of smoked meat and beer. If no PBR, then I suppose Aguila will have to suffice. Hell… I could go for a nice robust Logroño tinto o clarete with the roast butt. Too bad virtually no Spanish wine is availble here…other than Sangre de Toro (no complaints there- except the $14 dollar proce tag.

I would like to invite all of you to Spain for a BBQ. No jacket or tie required.
Christina will bring a cauliflower side dish. Karl will limber us up with a bit of Ashtanga yoga before lunch. Iron Man will bring mix up a pitcher of Alabama Slammers and serve them in cast iron flagons that he fabricated in his foundry. CuFoo will bring a Chocolate and Cabernet Sauvignon cake for dessert and a stack of her baby pictures. And Angie? She’ll choose the tattoo design that we’ll all go out and have etched onto our ankles to commemorate the day.
The next person who posts a comment will wash the dishes. Sorry Harsh and Hippo Pepperpot! When you snooze, you lose.

My hubby will be so envious. He was all about the flower pot idea… shame it didn’t work! Lucky you… if we ever get to Spain… I expect some good grub.
I get emotional about things like that… but mine was a sewing machine…. oh and my pasta machine.
Oh crap!!!! I just saw I had to do dishes…. bugger. How about if I make fried pizza as a starter and bring paper plates… I am no good at washing up if I am pissed as a fart.
That looks like a series of excellent, large scale meals waiting to happen, in style, of course. Wow!! Menu suggestion: smoked goose. It’s *divine*, and thanks for dropping by the other day!!

(Seriously, I won’t touch PBR anymore, now that I’m out of college now and somewhat gainfully employed… but you guys can drink away.)
