¡Besos de Inés!
SAL DeTRAGLIA's VIRTUAL TAPAS BAR
Above average home cook, published humorist, endurance athlete, former ex-pat, recovering attorney, doting husband, dedicated dad, non-Italian speaking Italian-American, and endearingly lousy ukulele player. It’s all true. It’s all Sal. This website (www.saldetraglia.com) is my outlet to inform and entertain, on both the personal and professional fronts.
My turn to step onto the poetry stage:
There once was a girl from Madrid
Whose haircuts cost 35 quid
All those years in Oak Park
Did indeed leave their mark
‘Cause she likes Tom Cruise more than El Cid.
I can’t believe you are 34 YEARS OLD! Happy birthday to my favorite spanish daughter in law. I hope you are having a good day, and with all the holidays you have I can’t believe you have to work on your birthday.
Have a glass of wine on me tonight.
Maria,
How could your husband be so cruel
To use his blogsite as a tool
Advertising your age as 34!!
Here’s what I would do
If I were you….
I’d go spend his money like a drunken fool!
I know, I know, it’s pretty bad – but it’s the best I could do other than wishing you a very Happy Birthday and many, many more!
Love
Big Mamma
Big Mamma is a gret poet!
Here goes my Limmerick!
There was a Inés in Guadalajara
who wore pyjamas McNamara
All her family loves her a lot
Though this poem does not rhyme at all!!

Happy Birthday Aunt ‘Ria! We hope you had a great day and we hope you will come visit us soon! XOXOXO- Your favorite nieces and their parents!
Hello everybody!
Thanks for the great poems and the reminder that I am not that old after all…
Believe it or not, I am actually back home and getting ready for our vacation. And I have promised Sal that I will not bring my laptop with me…
