THE FIRST ANNUAL TBF TAPAS CRAWL: STOLEN PHOTOS.

The Big Finn’s write-up on last Saturday’s Madrid tapas crawl is now posted.

If you do go to his blog, you’ll quickly realize that I’ve shamelessly stolen the following pictures from it.

Sorry, but he’s a much better photographer than I am.

Nice pics. Everything stolen tastes better anyway.

Ah, this is GREAT. I love the pictures and both the write-ups. And boy, the blinding cuteness of you three bar hoppers made it pretty hard to see my keyboard for a minute there.

Here’s to many more fabulous blogger meet-ups, with or without pig ears.

I’ll admit it. I’m kind of jealous of Mr. and Mrs. TBF.

Two Sal posts … well, my cup runneth over!

Sounds like a lovely time, need to get there, miss Spain like hell. The smog levels are high here in the flat country … blue skies mean grey skies and 90kms on the highways … beautifulll eh.

but i digress…you seem to know spain and tapas well. we’re going to barcelona next weekend. do you have a favorite there?

    Hey Jessica:

I used to live in Barcelona, but haven’t been back for at least three years.

Of those joints on the list, I’d say QuQu and Cal Pep are your best bets. Cal Pep tends to be very crowded, but QuQu is big and has a million tables; plus a bar at the entrance. That was probably my favorite tapas spot in BCN.

Hmm, I’ll have to reach out for advice when I’m next in Madrid, this seems like a heck of a way to spend an evening!
